Gun Belt Materials

We should probably start by talking about the different materials that gun belts can be made from. Today gun belts can be made from a variety of different natural and manmade materials. Each material has it's own strengths and weaknesses.  Each material will also differ in other areas such as cost, availability, and labor.

For the most part, nearly all gun belts are produced from one of three materials:

• Leather

• Ballistic Nylon

• Exotic Skins and Hides
